The humble and miraculous birth of Jesus Christ, set against the backdrop of a world in political flux. The Roman Emperor Augustus decrees a census, compelling Mary and Joseph to journey to Bethlehem. Despite their hardships, Mary gives birth to Jesus in a modest setting, laying him in a manger as there was no room in the inn. This momentous event is heralded by angels to shepherds nearby, proclaiming Jesus as the Savior, the Messiah, and the Lord. The shepherds, moved by this divine revelation, visit the newborn Jesus, sharing the angelic message with Mary and Joseph before returning to their flocks, glorifying and praising God for all they had heard and seen, which was just as the angels had told them. It is a defining moment of hope, marking the beginning of a new era in history.Recorded December 3rd, 2023Message by Pastor Tim WardScripture: Luke 2:1-20
